Thanks Katie!

Spent the last few days in bed.  Again, not overly conducive to finding miracles around me.  Just wanted to send a shout out to my 14 year old daughter who is growing up to be very kind and loving.  Slept in this morning due to just feeling fatigued, sore, groggy, and downright miserable.  The kids were also beginning to feel the ache and dizziness, so I just let them sleep.  About 10:00 Katie timidly knocks on the door and asks if she can come in.  In her hands are two plates of food.  One for me, and one for my husband.  Scrambled eggs with ham and salsa, whole grain toast, and cold juice with ice in it.  She said she just felt bored and was looking for something to do.  Thanks so much Katie!  You are awesome!!  I bet everyone else out there wishes their 14 year old would make them breakfast in bed when they were sick!  I’d bet the parents of most 14 year olds wish their kid could even cook like that period.  Not a miracle – but definitely an unexpected blessing.
